Is Full Facial Rejuvenation for everyone?

Full Facial Rejuvenation can be for anyone – male and female, however, it is important to discuss your requirements with your practitioner. Typically, younger patients may require less volume of dermal filler to be used to achieve the desire result. There may be some instances where the desired result is not entirely obtainable with dermal fillers alone and therefore your practitioner will advise of you other treatments of specialists you may need to seek on your rejuvenation journey.

How long does Full Facial Rejuvenation last?

Full Facial Rejuvenation with dermal fillers typically lasts between 6 -12 months. This is dependent on the individual. Factors such as metabolic speed, increased exercise impact the longevity of dermal filler. After having dermal fillers for the first time, you will have a better understanding of how long they will last for you. It is also possible that if you keep up with treatment regularly, you will see an accumulative effect.

What is the best Facial Rejuvenation Treatment?

What happens during my first consultation and Full Facial Rejuvenation Treatment?

During your face-to-face consultation with one of our experienced nurse prescribers, dermal fillers for full facial rejuvenation will be explained to you and an assessment will be carried out. The potential risks and side effects will be discussed with you, to ensure that you understand and are able to make an informed decision. We will need information on your medical history and will need to know any medications that you are taking, both prescribed and over the counter. You will then be required to read and sign a consent form, and photographs will be taken of your face and the treatment area, all of which will be stored on your file for future reference. Please arrive at your appointment with minimal makeup as the treatment area will need to be thoroughly cleansed.

What should I do before my Full Facial Rejuvenation Treatment?

Your practitioner will have discussed this with you at your face-to-face consultation, but in case you forget:

• We advise that you abstain from alcohol for 24 hours. 
• If you are taking any medications, prescribed or over the counter, ensure you have discussed them with us. 
• If you are currently taking anticoagulant therapy ensure you have discussed this with us. 
• Arrive with minimal makeup.

What should / shouldn’t I do after my Full Facial Rejuvenation Treatment?

This will be discussed with you at your consultation and as one of the top 3 rated clinics in Leeds city centre, you know you are in safe hands. In case you forget, the aftercare is as follows:

• Immediately after treatment you will be advised not to rub or touch the treated areas for 24 hours. 
• There may be bruising, swelling and tenderness after your treatment. This is normal and can take several days to settle. Arnica cream or gel can be applied to any bruised areas.
• You must not apply makeup for 24 hours.
• Do not perform strenuous exercise for 24 hours.  
• Avoid hot baths for 24 hours.
• Avoid saunas & steam rooms for 2 weeks.
• Avoid increased UV exposure for 2 weeks.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
• In the rare event that something doesn't feel right, or you have any further questions or concerns, it is important to contact the clinic or the out-of-hours number provided as soon as possible.

Are results immediate?

As dermal fillers are volumising, you will see results immediately. However, there may be bruising and swelling due to the nature of the treatment. This may take several days to settle, and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers typically take up to 4 weeks to integrate into the skin tissue. 

Is Full Facial Rejuvenation painful?

Full Facial Rejuvenation treatment with dermal fillers is described as mildly uncomfortable. Numbing cream can be applied to reduce any discomfort. The treatment itself lasts no longer than 30 minutes. You will be with your practitioner for one hour and this includes a further consultation.
