What are dermal fillers?
Cosmetic dermal fillers and lip fillers contain hyaluronic acid. When injected, lines and wrinkles are instantly reduced, restoring a firm and youthful appearance to the skin and lips. For Leeds lip filler injections call our Leeds skin clinic on 0113 821 4565.
What are the most popular dermal fillers and lip fillers?
Without a doubt these are our most popular dermal fillers:
- Lip Fillers
- Nose Fillers
- Jawline Fillers
- Cheek Fillers
- Tear Trough
Here is a brief explanation of each.
Did you know that most people lose 50% of their lip volume as they grow older? Full, natural lips are a sure sign of youth and beauty. Lip fillers can completely transform the face with just one quick procedure that takes approximately 30 minutes, giving results that last up to 9 months.
Often called the ’10-minute nose job,’ this nose filler treatment can be completed in just ten minutes with results that last up to 12 months. In fact, by injecting dermal filler we can make your nose appear both thinner and shorter or build the shape up if you would like.
We can make injections of dermal filler into the jawline which can give the appearance of more pronounced bone structure. This can be used to create the look of a strong jawline which is poplar with our male clients, or a more overall balanced look which the practitioners at our Leeds skin clinic will advise about.
Natural ageing causes the face to lose the fat that fills the cheeks. This a natural part getting older that many wish to reverse. Others may never have been blessed with prominent cheekbones and wish to create them. Our dermals fillers can produce amazing results lasting up to 18 months.
This dermal filler treatment is a great choice if you suffer with bags under your eyes, maybe caused by a lack of fat filling the area under your eye. A session at our Leeds skin clinic and we could be filling this space with dermal filler which will plump things up and give you a fresher, younger appearance
What dermal filler and lip filler product do we use?
There are several different dermal fillers and lip fillers currently offered on the market. Serenity offer various products including, Teosyal, Intraline & Belotero for dermal fillers and lip fillers at our skin clinic in Leeds City Centre.
Your practitioner will advise you on which lip fillers and dermal filler will best suit your needs.
What is different about the Teosyal RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) products?
Teosyal RHA is a wrinkle and lip filler product based on hyaluronic acid. It’s stretches with the movement of your face giving a natural appearance and slowing the breakdown of the hyaluronic acid, allowing the dermal filler and lip filler to last longer than traditional fillers. It is suitable for the most mobile areas of the face: perioral area, lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, forehead, crows feet.
What is different about Intraline?
Intraline’s Lip Fillers and Dermal Fillers have been developed utilising the finest ingredients and specifically formulated at a molecular level to provide the smoothest, most natural results available today.
Produced through a proprietary bacterial fermentation process and never animal-derived, Intraline’s Hyaluronic Acid is both effective and environmentally responsible. Following years of Swedish research, Intraline’s Lip fillers and Dermal Fillers utilise our innovative spherification technology, which smoothes HA’s traditionally angular rhomboid molecular structure. This formulation technique provides Intraline’s lip fillers with some of the highest molecular densities of any product on the market today, leading to smoother, more natural results than ever before possible.
Where can dermal fillers be used?
Dermal fillers can be used throughout the face, décolletage and hands to correct fine, superficial and deep lines, restoring youthfulness and rejuvenating the skin.
Specific areas which can be targeted include;
- Frown lines
- Periorbital lines- crows feet.
- Bridge of the nose.
- Nasolabial folds- laughter lines.
- Perioral lines- smoker’s line.
- Vermillion border- lines on the border of the lips causing lipstick bleed.
- Lip augmentation- re-define your lips by increasing volume, leaving them soft and plump.
- Marionette lines- corners of the mouth to your jaw for a more cheerful expression.
- Tear troughs
- Back of hands & décolletage- restore youthfulness and suppleness.
How long will dermal filler and lip filler injections last?
Depending on the area being treated, the results can be visible up to nine months after a single treatment. You may choose to have repeat or touch up treatments between six and twelve months to maintain a fresh appearance.
What is Teosyal Redensity I?
Loss of hyaluronic acid and excessive oxidative stress are the main reasons of skin aging:
Redensity I has been developed for holding back the appearance of first wrinkles, for rehydration & for smoothing out mature crepey skin.
It consists of a high concentration of natural and free hyaluronic acid and a combination of anti-oxidants, amino acids, minerals and vitamins, all of which are naturally present in our skin.
Teosyal Redensity I treatment consists in performing microinjections across the dermis, so that hyaluronic acid and the Dermo-Restructuring Complex are spread evenly into the skin. Three sessions at three week intervals are recommended for optimal cutaneous redensification. Two to three sessions per year are recommended to maintain the effects of the treatment.
It is suitable for the face, neck and also neckline which is a particularly fragile area often ignored by traditional treatments.
Redensity I guarantees subtle, uniform and cumulative results: the skin is evenly and naturally plumped, radiant and smooth with luminosity restored.
Does it hurt?
Serenity Aesthetics in Leeds City Centre offer local anaesthetic in order to numb the treatment area to reduce any discomfort experienced throughout the procedure. Teosyal dermal filler also contains Lidocaine anaesthetic.
